Having Konrad's former AWS therapist and going to advance in the tournament to beat TJ Alexander.

Meeting Konrad's former AWS therapist for the first time. Paris, France. Tuesday 27th January. (Off-Camera)

Everyone to some extent since they join AWS to do some therapy sessions and that's exactly the reason why Kemal was wrestling on Asylum to get some help to deal with the trauma of what he went through, something that the therapists had never ever dealt with before. Wrestlers come to Asylum to get help for many things when it comes to abusive parents, mental health traits they picked up from their parents, addictions to alcohol, drugs, sex at one point. Even trauma from a fear that wrestlers overcame, but those weren't applied for Kemal.

Saying that, it was clear as day that while Konrad in his very busy wrestling schedule had put out a good word to AWS staff as while Kemal wouldn't know who this guy is, it was clear he had been very much an association with the company for quite sometime. Kemal sits down, being in an very unusual situation as he had never thought in his life he would be in a mental facility to get himself better as he had a very good life when his family were around.

However, this was a necessity for Kemal as unlike all the other members of a wrestling team he's apart of in another wrestling company who always had other family members or friends or loved ones to speak to, Kemal had none of that, only the friends he had in another wrestling company on top of the Raab Brothers as well was the only connection he had. Anyway, he took a seat and the guy came in and sat opposite Kemal.

Kemal's therapist: “You'd be surprised that Konrad put in a good word for you to see me directly. He knows what he's talking about you know.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Wait, you're my therapist for this whole thing of my time being in AWS while being Konrad's former therapist?”

Kemal's therapist: “Indeed, I'm John Cunningham, AWS therapist for you. We, meaning his own personal therapist as well got him to be a main star in AWS. Of course Konrad mentioned you're a far different breed from him, considering you had a good life.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I did until well.”

It was clear to John that Kemal struggled a lot with having to deal with the situation he had to deal with, missing his family consistently, considering his wrestling team elsewhere were his only family he had which was tough and it told John so much why Konrad requested John to help him, even if he didn't know anyone who had experienced the stuff he went through.

John Cunningham: “Yeah, I know about that, trust me. Konrad told me and he did a wise thing, considering he obviously cares a lot about you and that to me was really unusual. I was like you what you know because I didn't expect him to be so kind to someone else.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “So this whole climate change thing, that's pretty recent?”

John Cunningham: “Oh no, I remember when he had to go to somewhere for hurricane damage, I knew about that, but to go so far to care for someone else and saving their life, that's remarkable. Shows to me how much the sessions benefitted him as they will with you too. Of course this is a different situation to his."

Kemal Yilmaz: “It is as I'm not this angry guy before that incident in Turkey happened. It was afterwards where nobody gave a damn about me.”

He was warned by Konrad that Kemal couldn't use swear words because of his religion which did make John aware that he was a totally different guy with that alone so it was something completely different and wasn't going to make comparisons with Konrad other than association and that was evident with John meeting a young kid.

John Cunningham: “That's what I'm here to talk about with you with someone who doesn't know you or won't ever become friends with you, just someone you can talk to. We want to get to the root cause of this trauma you've been suffering from due to the earthquake in Turkey. I'm really sorry you've lost everything. But what have you done recently to get yourself on track?”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Honestly, I haven't because I'm still coming to terms with it, but at the same time, how relationships work in Muslim world is it's not like I can easily go up to a woman I like, ask her out and have sexual intercourse straight away. It's forbidden to do any of that before marriage. You can't just go somewhere without having any Muslim friends around.”

John Cunningham: “I can imagine that fitting into a society where they don't follow your religion is really hard.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “It is, but I've learned to cope with that, it's just I want to rebuild a family of my own and lack of having Muslim friends is taking effect of this. I mean, I don't want to be alone all of my life, that's not the way to survive and live life. I want to have a wife and kids.”

Of course, Kemal was spitting all of this out, little does John know about Kemal's religion background because he hadn't encountered a Muslim before as they were a rare breed in wrestling but at the same time, it's what he was going to work with.

John Cunningham: “I know you have a ton of hatred pent up in you because of the earthquake situation and how people stole from you and even not providing you food and drink. I admire you didn't take the route of selling drugs or begging for money. You wanted food and drink to survive. I really respect that about you Kemal and that's no lie on that.”

Kemal knew there was a but part coming up as he was preparing himself for it due to being silent, being where he thought he'd never thought to get mental help to deal with the trauma.

John Cunningham: “But I do have a question to ask, how are Muslim relationships different to a traditional one that people like me live by?”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I have to get Muslim friends to move on as I can't enter a relationship like you could, I have to have a guiding Muslim or even going to a mosque and Islamic events. Basically, I can't go up to a woman without a Muslim guy setting me up with a woman. That's how it works.”

John Cunningham: “OK so firstly, I suggest you get a Muslim guy friend if you want to move onto a relationship to build your own family. Secondly, even if you do manage to build your family, I know you will still suffer from the trauma, especially Konrad told me you saw your own mother die in your own arms.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “That's true. I just want someone I don't know who isn't close to understand because I feel I'm a lost cause. I feel like hurting everyone around me because I got no help or care from people. I was beaten in the streets, had everything robbed from me. I just felt I was going to die.”

Which was a really hard thing for Kemal to get over and granted, it was an introduction, but it was a much more interaction in the beginning than the interaction he got from Konrad when he started the sessions where John had to second guess everything.

John Cunningham: “We'll talk all about that and I'm glad you're so much more open about it than Konrad was. That shows you really want help and someone to talk to. That's a good sign. However, we do need to talk about your opponent, TJ Alexander for the chance to be a title contender.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “You don't need to tell me about TJ Alexander, Konrad and Lord Raab covered everything I needed to know about him. But these title opportunities I've been getting, I got to be honest, it's way too soon for me. I never asked or demanded to have title matches. Of course, the goal was to have title matches and win championships, but I've only just debuted on the PPV and had only two matches.”

John Cunningham: “I do agree with you that it is all very fast, but at the same time, I do think Fergal sees something in you. Of course coming under Konrad's wing, he would. But from seeing you in the ring against Daron and Julian, you process something completely unknown to the wrestling audience. That mask. Never seen a submission artist like yourself wear one in wrestling and it's not a lucha mask either.”

That was the one thing that hadn't been brought into

Kemal Yilmaz: “Believe me, it was the best decision I made. I was so boring without it and was like all the other technical and submission wrestlers. I asked myself, what would be the one thing that would stand me out from all the submission artists, what would stand me out from other wrestlers. So I got attached by the venom mask in the shop and was like ah yes, I go for that.”

Kemal had a drink of water and he continued with the story.

Kemal Yilmaz: “So I came out to a Venom mask and the reaction I got was amazing, felt like it was to in cooperate and spill out acid on my opponents like they are poisonous like everyone around me felt I was poison when they didn't want to help me. Then the acid thing, I want to use because the earthquakes was a acid to my life and health.”

John Cunningham: “I'm sure. Yeah so you may have advanced in the Survival of the Fittest

tournament and you got the US title contention tournament too. You think you can do two matches in one day?”

Kemal Yilmaz: “I like to think I can yes because you got to be prepared for anything in wrestling these days. I'd love to give that whole thing a try, but honestly, I rather focus on one title, but I'd happily vacate one of the titles if I happen to win both because I'm not about greed or getting stressed to focus on two titles at once.”

That was the problem Kemal may have to face is holding two titles and he would admit the struggle to defend two belts at once. Which was a concern and John had written everything Kemal had been saying on paper and also on the laptop as well in case documents get lost.

John Cunningham: “Yeah, that's the wise way to look at things. Thank you for being so open. We'll discuss more about this next time you're scheduled for another wrestling match. I was going to ask you for your opinions on TJ, but I know you'll speak about him within the next two days.”

Kemal Yilmaz: “Indeed. I got more than enough material on TJ Alexander from Konrad and Lord Raab themselves. I'll be seeing you a lot because this really helped me.”

Which it was to Kemal who was very open about everything with his life struggles and how he sometimes felt alone. He shakes John's hand and leaves the Asylum to wonder in the streets of Paris for a while, searching for more European wrestlers to join the wrestling school for the Raab brothers as he was officially signed to do that he was allowed to recruit wrestlers if see fit.

Paris, France. Thursday 29th January. (On-Camera)

Cameras are located on top of the Eiffel Tower where Kemal Yilmaz was as he goes to see the sights as he'd never been to Paris before because he never had the money to go anywhere else. Still he was here now and he was on top of the Eiffel Tower and was seeing the sights of Paris, but he also knew the cameramen were ready to roll with things as Kemal starts to talk.

“TJ Alexander. I know a lot about you believe it or not kid. Well you most likely figured things out by now as to why I do and you'd most likely already covered it and sure, some could say you've won a lot of titles and that you have. You're consistent and you're always here wrestling against the top wrestlers. Sometimes you win, sometimes you'll lose. That's how wrestling works. Also I'm not that good at stamina either.”

Kemal had to think a little bit on what else there is to say, but he remembered that he won a title shot fair and square and he's placed in the other one which does related to what he was going to talk about.

“But the problem with you TJ is you do come across rather boring. The only thing you really talk about is your opponents and what their strengths and weaknesses are and other goals in wrestling then. You never seem to break a sweat talking about anything else like no background discussion checks, no checking if they were OK. I was like you once, but I changed because I was boring, didn't have anything different to the other wrestlers so I put on the venom mask and never felt better for being different.”

It was clear what Kemal had going for himself there and he knew he would easily poke a bear in TJ Alexander as he was relaxed for a bit and then he gets down to the nitty-gritty themselves.

“All this high flying nonsense, all this I'm kid crazy, yet I've never seen them around. It also makes you so boring because you don't talk about how you were brought into the business or what did you like about wrestling. It goes a long way than just capturing wrestling titles. I had my first therapy season two days ago. I also fail to see why you come to Asylum when there's nothing wrong with you. There's plenty of high flying wrestlers like you in this business, some had charisma and some like you don't.”

Kemal was only speaking facts and only learning from the top guys he had worked with all his career and he knew he had to speak about the situation with the title contention tournament he was in.

“Nothing else to talk about with boring TJ Alexander. Everything about you bores me because nobody knows your background since you refuse to connect your past to your wrestling. Are you afraid that it gets exposed to the public and you can't defend yourself? Poor you. I'm not afraid to talk about the earthquake situation I had to survive from where I lost everything because to remind people of how I am today and why I'm so evil.”

All Kemal was trying to do was proving a point to TJ that you can connect wrestling to real life situations and how Kemal became the man he is today.

“I'm evil and dangerous because I was primed to be an MMA fighter, not being a wrestler, but wrestling was an opportunity I was offered by Konrad when he came to clean and rebuild buildings to save my life. You TJ, you're just some random wrestler that happened to be scouted by John Dixon just from building a wrestling ring in your garden. How boring of a story and typically generic as well. My story far outseeds yours and I'm a wrestler that far outseeds your style as well. You're a peon to be honest TJ. There's nothing about you that interests me.”

He smirked, thinking he was going to have an easy time with TJ and throwing a lot of disrespect as usual, but mostly because his mentors have beaten him so many times. He enjoys seeing the sights of Paris, using a binoculars to see a closer view of the buildings in France, while speaking.

“Heck, you haven't changed the game for a long time, it's more me that changes the game since there's only a few technicians in the ring these days. All want to do flip flop wrestling. I'm not against it per say, but it's just unoriginal and boring now. The point is I'm going to out wrestle you, I'm going to advance in this title tournament because I'm so much a better wrestler than you. You're limited with high flying moves, while I just want to make you tap out.”

He settles and he hadn't spoken much about the title, just TJ and he did need to address it very quickly after he drank some water.

“I know there's an American title and none of us are American, but you know what I'd do that you wouldn't ever do, considering what I heard what you done with the US title that you didn't bother changing to United Kingdom title. I'll change it to European championship because there's not many of those titles around and I'm certainly not American in any shape or form. I'm going to eliminate you from being in the next round of the AWS European championship tournament because everyone sees the acid advancing because I'm toxic and will throw acid all over the ring for you to touch and I'll win.”

Kemal wipes his hands dry as he focuses on more views of Paris and the camera goes black.
